Description:
The foundations for this high rise residential tower were built to the outer limits of the site property lines. Abutting structures included a 9' x 12' storm drain and the existing Boston Garden Parking Garage foundation. Drilled shafts and LBEs were chosen to prevent undermining of the storm drain and to limit vibrations at the abutting buildings. Drilled shafts at the building core contained embedded built up column sections to support the superstructure.
